"But for the grace of God, there go I."

The Community Burdock Fund

Protecting Land, Empowering Women

The guiding foundation of the Burdock Fund is an update to the traditional Golden Rule of "Do unto others as you would want done to you" to

The Platinum Rule

"Do unto others as they would have done unto them."

This is where The Burdock Fund is different. And this is where we start to make a difference, and a lasting impact. We listen to those we serve with dignity and respect allowing them to co-create their healing journey. Together, we develop a life plan that is hollistic, which ensures people have what they need for change to happen. This is empowerment.

The land comes in.....

The Burdock Community Fund was started at The Little Herb Shoppe in Littleton, New Hampshire. There was a need for access to herbal medicine for the local community.

If you'd like to inquire about funds for herbal medicine, consultations or would like to attend our classes, please contact our herbalist, Kim through our contact page. Please describe your need and a bit about your situation. Please include your phone number and email and we'll contact you within a few days to see how we can help you access the offerings at our Apothecary. You are very welcome here.

If you are making a donation to the 'Burdock Fund', please note that at this time it is not a Tax-Deductible contribution. We are in the process of creating our 501(c)3, meanwhile Burdock funds will be distributed among those who cannot afford to pay for consultations, necessary herbal medicine, or to attend herbal workshops.

"When people who live their meaning meet each other, a connection is made outside of space and outside of time that has a lasting effect. It becomes part of this bigger network of light that gives meaning to the whole of life." — Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee

Please include in the "Notes" section of your online order, whether we may disclose your name in our program or if you prefer to remain anonymous. Thank you to so many who are wanting to forward the benefit and blessing of herbal medicine. We've chosen the herb Burdock as it symbolizes deep community roots, resilience and health. On rootedness... Have you ever tried to pull up a burdock root!?

We appreciate your donations. Thank you.

"My husband went into Dartmouth Hospital with congested heart failure for ten days. Recovery has been slow and steady. Upon departure, he was placed on four medications on a daily bases with various side effects that have occurred.  It was our plan to remove him from all medications within a year of his departure from the hospital.

He had more side effects that he did not want to live with, so he decided to remove himself from medication.

The herbs from the Little Herb Shop and funds from the Burdock Fund to have helped him to recover from the side effects which he did fully recover from over several weeks. So today he is free of side effects and all medications.

We are grateful to the Burdock Fund and the Little Herb Shop for their assistance in my husband's recovery.
