Product Description

Join us next summer in 2018 for our Plant & Tree Walk: Identification, Harvesting & Proper Drying Techniques, Sacred Medicine

Awaken your inner herbalist! Bring along your enthusiasm & prepare to meet new herbal allies! And leave knowing how to work with them, play with them, and love them.....

Come learn how to safely identify & use a variety of plants, trees, and herbs and create simple & safe remedies. During our informative & fun walk through the North Country woods on our new botanical Sanctuary, we’ll learn sacred tree medicine, how to ID local trees, and discover their medicinal value. This walk will include the Birch & Conifers, Maples and more...

Proper harvesting & drying techniques are vital to making your own safe & effective herbal medicine for yourself, family & your friends. You'll also learn how to ethically harvest a variety of plants to ensure potent medicine. Often times we can get moldy herbs or herbs that do not contain the constituents we need because of improper drying techniques. We'll discuss several drying techniques - and which herbs are best to dry which way! We love to share this traditional wisdom with you.

We ask & make offerings of thanks for what we harvest, so please bring along a little tobacco, crystal, etc....  This class is lead by Conifer & Kim. Bring along your enthusiasm and be prepared to meet many new herbal allies just waiting all around you to help you! You'll leave more empowered to make herbal medicine & bring enchantment to everyday life.

This class will bring together working, playing & praying with the plant spirits as well as discussion of plant constituents & energetics. You’ll leave with herbal medicine you have made this day!
